I've been a proud member of Elwood Lifesaving club in Melbourne. Since being back in London, one of the things I really wanted to do is to head out to the Agean sea to help the volunteer lifeguards there. They managed to find sponsorship for equipment, but the maintenance / fuel / repair costs will still have to be met even though all volunteers travelled and lived on their own expense.

I haven't managed to head out there yet, but the least I can do is to fundraise, so they can continue the project.

Sometime between 5-11 Sep, my team and I will be attempting to swim across Lake Geneva which is 69km long. It'll take us at least a whole day if not more to complete it.
