Story
On Sunday 22nd October, 2017 we heard the sad news that Steve Brown had tragically and unexpectedly passed away in Uganda. Setting off from Community Church Derby (EMCF) Steve and Kathryn Brown travelled to Uganda with their young family. Working for New Hope Uganda Steve and his family were able to answer their hearts cry to help a nation with the crisis they were facing with orphaned children. He became more than just a worker in a missionary field. His larger than life character, his infectious smile, his genuine love for people made him a close friend to many. Steve was an amazing husband to Kathryn, an incredible father to Joel, Anya and Silas and an awesome friend to those that knew him and he will be missed. At a time such as this we believe God has called us to love, prayer and action. We can do all three and this page allows us to put our love into action and give whatever we can to help Steve's family at this time. For those that knew Steve this is a moment to give a little back to a man who gave so much! Thank you on behalf of Community Church Derby and all in EMCF (East Midlands Christian Fellowships)!

7 years agoIt is clear that generosity is in the heart of our Father God. As we are made in the likeness of His image it is of no surprise that this same generosity overflows from our hearts. At such a time as this your words and actions have meant so much. So, thank you for all that you have done and given so far. If you feel able to please do share the link to this page. Much love to you all!
