- Funded on Friday, 5th July 2019

Story
Our beautiful & bright daughter Elspeth (5yrs) tragically died in early July 2018. After being left completely devastated by her loss, my husband & I have taken it upon ourselves to make sure her legacy of kindness & humour is not lost in the community she was very much a part of.
Next year I hope to walk to the top of Ben Nevis and place a stone on the peak - which Elspeth decorated with a picture of herself before she died. I am hoping with the donations I receive for this challenge, to give every penny to fund a sensory garden in Elspeth's name for the preschool she once loved.
In this we hope to make her proud.

6 years agoThank you to everyone who has donated - we have smashed the £3k target which is just amazing and is a true testament to Elspeth's memory and the lives she touched in her short time. We reached the summit of Ben Nevis on 6th June and placed Elspeth's hand drawn stone on the highest point. Meaning that a bit of her is always touching the clouds. Work has started on the sensory garden at Little Wrens Nursery & we hope to share some updates soon! Thank you again amazing people!! xx
