Hi, my name is Ellie Killick I am a 20 year old university student currently studying Multimedia Sports Journalism at UCFB, based in the famous Wembley Stadium.

I have a physical disability called Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2. I rely fully on a wheelchair along with my carers to live my life. Although I try my hardest not to let my condition stand in the way of how I want to live my life, it can sometimes become difficult particularly with things like traveling. 

My university offer multiple fantastic global summits each year to allow students to explore the sports industry around the world. Growing up I always wanted to visit the US but it has never been possible, thanks to this once in a lifetime opportunity now may be the best chance to make a dream come true. In January there is a trip to Miami which I am very interested in and I feel it would benefit me greatly in becoming a journalist.

Unfortunately whilst we have been researching the logistics of the trip we have found the prices for travel insurance is extortionate due to my condition posing a risk. Any help towards this would be greatly appreciated!
