Story
As many of my family and friends know, Ellie sadly passed away last week. My sister / Ellie's mum has asked me to open a just giving page as she has received many very kind offers from people wanting to donate towards the cost of the funeral, flowers and head stone. As I'm sure you understand we are unsure of the arrangements or the cost as yet but I have set a target of £800.00. Any money we receive that exceeds the cost of the funeral will be donated to one of Ellie's favourite places to visit for many of her very short 17 years - The Space Centre in Preston.
Ellie was one of the most kind hearted, genuine, funny and loving people you could ever meet. She will be sadly missed by us all.

7 years agoEllie's funeral will take place on Wednesday 20th December at 2:30 pm at St Mary's Church, Broadfield Drive, Leyland. After the Service we will be laying Ellie to rest at St Mary's cemetery on Worden lane. Anyone who knew Ellie will know that she was obsessed with her trainers so we are going to wear standard funeral attire with an Ellie twist of some bright coloured trainers, you are all more than welcome to join us in doing the same. Again, from the bottom of our hearts thank you for your continued support, donations and well wishes.

7 years agoWe (especially Samantha) have been amazed, moved and touched by the overwhelming generosity, kind words and well wishes from you all. We have met with the Funeral Directors today and we should have a date for Ellie's funeral confirmed tomorrow. I will keep you all updated. Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, its lovely to know that there is so much love out there at such a sad time. Love and gratitude on behalf of Samantha and her family xx
