Story

The challenge: About 84 miles from Barrow-on-Solway to Wallsend in one-ish go. Dressed as romans*

Please add a song for my playlist when you donate to keep us going through the darkness.

Starting on the 25th October Ellen and Hugo will attempt to get from one coast to the other, non stop with no sleep from start to end:
when we can't run we'll walk, when we can't walk we will crawl when we can't crawl.... well that's why we have a support crew to carry us!

Why?
My Dad walked the width of England in Chainmail with his friends to raise money, I've wanted to do my own version for a while now and Hadrien's wall seemed the perfect challenge to raise money for causes small enough we can actually make a difference to them with our donation.

Who? Ellen and Hugo will be the ones doing the challenge, Roanne Owen, Dougal and Bucky will be our support crew, and I have so much love for every one of them for following my silly idea. If you don't want to support me, support them.

The causes:
Oxford Mutual Aid: they source, pack and deliver regular and emergency parcels to households across Oxford with food, toiletries and baby supplies

Fleet Tkd: my local ITF Taekwondo school run by Mr Paul Oliver. I see every week the diversity and change that this club brings to the community. Kids and adults of all ages and backgrounds are united on a level playing field.
Mr Oliver had recently taken over the club and is growing it rapidly, he takes dedication and personal sacrifice to keep everyone in the sport and performing to their full potential even if they are suffering financially or otherwise outside of it.
I am incredibly thankful for everything he is doing both personally and to the community as a whole; and would love to do my bit to grow the resources of this club to something really special.

* disclamer: not historically accurate clothing, Romans didn't wear trainers. Costume supplied by Feast Your EYEs costume store.
