Rick died cycling in Andorra, doing what he loved. He had ridden 120 miles the night before to get to the training camp were his mate Elliot and Elliots team were based. He died the next morning whilst out on a training ride. So many of the North West cycling community are desperately saddened by the loss of Rick, he was a smashing lad and will be sorely missed.

On Saturday at the junior divs I was given £100 for Ricks family. So I felt it would be a good idea to see if we could raise more, as a gift for the family to do as they wish.

Rick was always happy and keen to help others so it seems only fitting that we may wish to help his loved ones now.
