Elizabethfontein Primary School has been twinned with Goostrey Primary School since 2004. The school in South Africa has 270 pupils and over 160 children live in the hostel dormitories during the school week. Many of the children come from homes that are not conducive to learning and the hostel provides a comfortable, homely and safe-haven during term time.
