Last year during Pride Month (and for my birthday) we raised £1000 via JustGiving (and an extra £120 through Twitch) to send copies of the Trans Teen Survival Guide to schools and libraries across the UK. This was far more than I had anticipated and I am so grateful... As is my mum who started this whole project! She asked if I could do another fundraiser stream for LGBT+ History Month (February) which just so happens to coincide with my 1 year affiliate anniversary!

This time it's a little different. There are 3 books being sent out. Alongside the Trans Teen Survival Guide by Owl and Fox Fisher, copies of Have Pride by Stella Caldwell and This Book is Gay by Juno Dawson are being distributed. Ways of getting these books to schools and libraries in other countries is also being figured out.

We will being doing another 12 hour stream on 18th February starting at 3pm GMT. There will be various incentives for overall goals and individual donations. I hope that we can match what we raised last time as it was an incredible amount that got so many copies of the book out to young people across the UK and I hope that this time was can have a wider impact on LGBTQIA+ youth.
