Just a quick update to all our contributors, the final total raised for Spire Junior School on behalf of Harrison, including cash donations, ended up at £1,250. Thank you all very much, you have all been incredibly kind and generous. As soon as Harrison is able to present the cheque to the Headmaster, I will post his photograph and a wee message from the star himself. Again, thank you very, very much. Well today we completed the challenge and got to the summit of Goat Fell. It turned out to be a fine day with very little wind which made for a good climb. Harrison and all his family are delighted with the amount raised which is far more than we anticipated so we would like to thank each and every person for their kindness and generosity. And from the “oldies” who made the climb, we would like to thank you for your support to help us there. We only made it up so as not to disappoint you all.

A big thank you to all who have donated! I’m on my way to Arran today and the other 3 “mountaineers” will join me on Saturday. We are dependent on the weather conditions to decide which day we will face Goat Fell but it will between 5-10 September so keep your fingers crossed for great weather - and I know that is asking a lot for Scotland’s variable climate but it’s worth a try 😃🤞.
