Since 2020 and huge changes in many people's lives, Hazeley Kalisch, a year 8 student at Bethany School, has been raising funds for two children to continue their schooling in Namibia. Previously, the children had been sponsored by Wild Dog Safaris, but once Covid hit and travel halted the children were left without a sponsor. Hazeley grew up with both Rusia and Mercy and is doing her best to raise enough to keep both children in their school. This school year will start in January 2023 and she hopes to raise a total of 1500.00 pounds by swimming a total of 10 kms in the winter school term.
