On Sunday 9th October I'll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon and raising money for the Tom Wilson Memorial Fund and Pancreatic Cancer UK (my firm's charity of the year).

Tom 'Willo' Wilson was a member my hockey club, Old Loughtonians, who tragically died following a freak hockey training accident in December 2015. He was a key member of the Men’s 1st XI team and had come up through the club's junior sides.

After the event it came to light that Tom had signed up to the Organ Donor Register whilst at University. His organs were donated and have since helped save and improve the lives of over 20 people.

The Tom Wilson Memorial Fund was set up to raise money for various donor organisations, concussion research and England Hockey related sporting charities. In addition, I hope to raise as much awareness and encourage as many people as possible to sign up to the Organ Donor Register.

Any donations would be hugely appreciated and it would mean a great deal to both the Wilson family and PCUK.
