- Funded on Saturday, 8th October 2022
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
This sweet young man is Alfie and we are raising money to buy him a new electric wheelchair that he is in desprate need of for his mobility to get him out and about enjoying lots of new adventures.
At just 8 years old alfie has written his own book and has had it published, selling it on amazon to raise the funds for his new wheelchair but we have set this fundraiser up to give him a helping hand and reward all his hard work.
Alfie has a rare genetic condition called L1 syndrome and suffers from hydrocephalus along with some other extra needs so this wheelchair is really important for alfie and day to day life giving him the support and opportunity to be out and about with ease.
He does have a manual wheelchair but he has to have some one push him as its too hard for him to do on his own an electric wheelchair would give him so much more independence that he needs being an 8 year old boy!
Thank you so much for reading
Please donate if you can or share for us 🫶
Don’t forget to check out Alfies amazing story book on amazon “the monkeys that stole a bus” 🙊
