Story
Dear Everyone,
24 members of staff from Eggar’s School will be swapping classrooms for mud pits on 9 May 2026 as they take on the 5K Tough Mudder challenge in Henley to raise money for charity. The team will tackle a demanding obstacle course testing strength, stamina and teamwork, all while supporting two important causes: Naomi House & Jack’s Place and Meningitis Now. From icy water to muddy climbs, the event promises to be tough but rewarding, with colleagues encouraging one another every step of the way. Their effort reflects the strong sense of community at Eggar’s School, as staff come together to push their limits and make a positive difference beyond the school gates.
Naomi House & Jacksplace enhance families lives through the provision of supportive respite care and specialist medical care for life-limited and life-threatened children and young adults, from across Central South of England. Jacks Place is the only hospice for young adults in the local regions offering care, support and independence
Meningitis Now - Our vision is a future where no-one in the UK loses their life to meningitis and everyone affected gets the support they need to rebuild their lives - this is also in memory of our much loved Reuben.
