Maya and I have decided to take the responsibility to make sure that every single penny goes directly to those in need. I’m in touch with the rescue teams as well as the locals in the affected areas. From many miles away, this page is the best possible way to help and raise awareness. Any help is much appreciated.

I am raising money for victims of the devastating earthquake that took place in Turkey and Syria. I have decided to make sure that the money raised goes straight to those who need it most. In April I will be going to the areas that have been destroyed by the earthquake. Teaming up with TAYFA, a Turkish relief organisation, I will be going to help the people whose lives have been shattered by this tragedy. With one and a half million people made homeless our work has just begun. I will fully document the journey and report back via social media.

So far I have held a sale of Turkish bracelets at school raising £175.00 in donations (more to come !)

I plan to sell loads more bracelets before we leave for Turkey in April. If you want one, drop me a line!

Following a WhatsApp and a Facebook campaign we have so far raised £315.00 via Just Giving.

All money raised will be taken to Turkey in April and with the help of TAYFA we will spend every penny on items that will make a real difference to the victims of the quake.

TAYFA will then help us travel to the areas most in need and distribute our aid.

TAYFA are a community volunteer group who are working 24/7 to deliver aid. With groups in Istanbul, Ankara and Adana they are making a real difference and delivering 100% of all donations directly to the neediest.
