Meet Mr Ebrima Bojang, and IT and Business Management student from the village of Gunjur, The Gambia, West Africa.

I was privileged to meet Ebrima at The Gambia's first waste management conference organised by the UK Charity WasteAid (www.wasteaid.org.uk).

Ebrima requires assistance to power his 8 'dying but not dead' computers to serve the IT and internet service needs of the community of Gunjur. He is the only person with an internet shop. Unfortunately, The Gambia's power and electricity needs are very poor, with daily power cuts lasting up to 17hours a day, particularly in Gunjur away from the urban areas.

We are helping Ebrima raise funds to purchase 5 solar panels to power each of his 65W PCs, along with his standalone printer and power cables for other electrical devices.
