Sorry we have been a bit quiet over this fundraiser for the past couple of months - we have been processing some donations via a different route and we're delighted to announce that, with your support, we now have the funds necessary to get our broilers onto solar! This is fantastic news!

Ebenezer Matobo apprentices have been gaining excellent hands on experience in raising broiler chickens. However, our current set up means we are reliant on a generator for our lighting systems. As well as having a negative impact on the environment, this set up means we have a significant ongoing cost in fuelling our generator.

By installing a simple solar set up for our poultry houses, we can provide lighting for 10,000 chickens in an environmentally friendly way with virtually no ongoing running costs!
