Eastleigh Pride was founded in 2017 with a mission to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and stand against discrimination. Our inaugural event in 2018 brought people together in the heart of our town, marking a new chapter of inclusivity and unity. Since then, Eastleigh Pride has grown into a beloved tradition, offering performances, workshops, and celebrations that promote acceptance and diversity.

As we prepare for our 6th annual Pride, our commitment to fostering a more inclusive, supportive community remains stronger than ever. Eastleigh Pride is not just a celebration; it's a movement for lasting change and equality for all.

Why Does Eastleigh Pride Have Costs?

Each year, it costs around £2,500 just to run Eastleigh Pride. This figure covers essential expenses such as equipment, logistics, venue setup, permits, and other operational needs that allow us to bring the event to life. Although the event is a labour of love, and all of the talent and performers contribute their time and energy without financial compensation, these behind-the-scenes costs are unavoidable.

Your contributions play a critical role in making Eastleigh Pride possible. Not only do they help cover the event's operational expenses, but they also help to provide a platform for local grassroots LGBTQIA+ performers and artists.
