I've raised £1000 to fund essential maintenance of the Church bells in Dunster

My challenge is to climb Mt. Snowdon in early June. I am approaching my 75th birthday (June 10th) and was planning an activity that would be a personal achievement. I enjoy walking but know this will not be easy requiring stamina and determination and will stretch my energy levels.
I started bellringing about five years ago after I retired. Having always appreciated the sound of church bells I started going to practice sessions and found it to be an interesting and challenging activity. People of any age or gender can participate and receive instruction and encouragement from a teacher. It is rewarding to be part of something that has such a long tradition in this country.
A recent inspection of the bells at Dunster Tower has revealed that some repair and maintenance is necessary so we need to raise funds to ensure that the bells can be rung regularly and safely now and in the future.
So I am now asking for sponsors for my Snowdon walk in order to ensure that we are able to go ahead with the work on the bells.
