I've raised £1000 to help the Refuge and Galop abuse charities

I will be taking part in a 24 hour CrossFit challenge in June 2023 to raise funds for Refuge and Galop
In June 2023, every hour for 24 hours I will be doing a specialist CrossFit workout at my local gym to raise funds and awareness for Refuge and Galop - both the UK's leading provider of specialist services of domestic, sexual, lgbtq+ and gender-based abuse.
I am aiming to raise a whopping £10,000, so all support is greatly appreciated.
Refuge has led the campaign against domestic abuse since 1971. We have grown to become the country’s largest single provider of specialist domestic and gender-based violence services. Now we support thousands of women and children on any given day. We understand that every women’s experience and situation is unique; we run a network of life-saving and life-changing services across the country that give women the opportunity to access support most suited to their circumstances and on their own terms. We provide a national network of 41 refuges, child support services, independent advocacy and community outreach. We also run specialist services for survivors of modern slavery, ‘honour’-based violence, and female genital mutilation. Refuge also runs the National Domestic Abuse Helpline that provides the first crucial step to women escaping abuse.
Galop works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. They specialise in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, and other forms of abuse including honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and so-called conversion therapies. We are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of our community are at the centre of what we do.
Thank you for any support you can give.
