Story

We are raising £3,000 for Druglink.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Druglink is a substance misuse charity based in Hertfordshire. Our objective is to change the future for people who are, or could be, affected by substance misuse.

We have a residential rehab, a medical detox, sober housing, criminal justice housing, domestic refuge beds, affordable counselling, outreach workers, an out of hours service for mental health.

On 26 April 2025, the Druglink Team will be running a 5k in Hyde Park, London, to raise funds for this vital work. Our team consists of clients, staff, friends of Druglink and many of us are completely new to running. Our clients have been donated running shoes from One Impossible Thing, another wonderful charity. Some of the clients would not have been able to take place / train for this event without this help and we are very grateful. Find out about their good work at 1impossiblething.com

So far on the Druglink Team, running 5k to raise funds, we have:

Angela Goodall, Regan Luts, Simon Loader, Lauren Botting, Ruth Donegan, Claire McCartan, Nikki John, Kevin Vickers, Sam Smith, Perry Hughes, David Bond, Amy Michaels, Charlie Michaels, Tia Denchfield, Callum Few

Supporting us from Abbington House are Clare Matthew, Jack Ware and Hamish Drummond.

Do you want to run for Druglink too? Email clairemccartan@druglink.ltd.uk if you want to be added to the team. We hope to get lots more people running!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, I will withdraw funds directly. It's the most efficient way to donate and saves time and costs.
