DEVORAN PILOT GIG CLUB
*Donations for Some New Oars*
It would be fantastic if you can kindly donate towards us raising £6,000 to order two new sets of oars for the club.
One set would be special 'lightweight' oars for the Junior Rowers to use when learning, training and racing. At the moment they are having to row with oars which for some are too heavy for some or we are borrowing from other clubs - so we really do need our own!
It has been tremendous to see such an increase in the number of junior rowers in recent years and some have now moved into the senior crews and showing them the way!
The other set of oars are to replace the much used Racing Oars which are now on their last legs with one splitting at the start of the race in our very own regatta.
