I've raised £1000 to le cuidiú le Donate4Dáithí, feachtas Dháithí Mhic Gabhann

1818Beidh Laochra Loch Lao ag tabhairt faoin tSeacht mBinn sna Beanna Boirche Dé Sathairn 25 Meán Fómhair. Roghnaigh muid an tseachtain sin mar gurb é sin an tSeachtain Deonú Orgán agus beidh muid ag tacú lenár gcara Dáithí Mac Gabhann atá ar an liosta deonú orgán le níos mó na trí bliana anuas. Tá Dáithí agus a thuismitheoirí Máirtín agus Seph ag feachtasaíocht le haird a dhíriú ar an deonú orgán anseo in Éirinn agus d'éirigh leo "Soft opt out" a fháil sa tuaisceart. Tá tuilleadh eolais ar scéal Dháithí ar na meáin @Donate4daithi agus ag Donate4daithi.org. Beidh muid ag bailiú airgid le tacú le feachtas Donate4daithi agus is féidir airgead a dheonú anseo.
Laochra Loch Lao will take on the Seven Peaks of the Morne Mountains on Saturday 25 September. We chose Organ Donation Week and will be supporting our friend Dáithí Mac Gabhann who has been on the waiting list for the gift of a new heart for over three years. Dáithí and his parents Máirtín and Seph are campaigning to raise awareness of organ donation here in Ireland and have helped massively in the campaign to get Soft opt out organ donation in the north. More information on Dáithí 's story is available on social media channels @Donate4Daithi and at Donate4daithi.org. We will be raising money to support the campaign and money can be donated here.
Dáithí has been on the waiting list for a heart transplant for almost 3 years, and our family have started this Donate4Dáithí campaign to raise awareness of organ donation, while he waits. The Donate4Dáithí Campaign has also been lobbying for a change of law to soft opt-out organ donation. More information on our campaign can be found on our website www.donate4daithi.org or on our @Donate4Daithí social media pages.
