Story

On the 22nd of February 2021 I underwent a Robotic Prostatectomy after being told in December 2020 that I had Prostate Cancer, this surgery removed my tumours and has helped me understand how little I actually knew about Prostate Cancer. The short to medium term impact on me made me appreciate what this disease can do and I feel I am a very lucky man to be where I am today.

On the 22nd of February 2022 I will be 'sleeping-out' at Station Park, home of Nairn County to raise money for Prostate Scotland and the Urology Department at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. Both do incredible work helping men deal with someone that has a serious impact on their lives.

The Nairn County chairman, Donald Matheson and the Nairn County secretary, Ian Finlayson will be joining me for the 12 hour 'sleep-out'. We ask if you are able to contribute to this fundraising then please do using this page or in person to any of us. All funds raised will be split between both Prostate Scotland and the Urology Department at Raigmore Hospital.
