I've raised £3500 to cover Dolly's specialist dental treatment

Dolly
Dolly may be short in stature but what she lacks in height she makes up with her big heart.
Sophie's Smile Ponies is a registered charity and Dolly has played an active role in the community for the last three years as a therapeutic pony. She has visited many places including the hospital, care homes, schools, clubs and preschools.
Unfortunately Dolly has not been well for the last few months and has had to stop her visits. She started with a runny nose and she seemed depressed. I gave her some TLC and she was examined by our local vet. The vet was suspicious that the problem might be a tooth root abscess. Dolly has had £1000 of investigative treatment, including X-rays and having her teeth rasped. After trialling antibiotics, to no avail, a referral was put in to a specialist Veterinary Dentist in the UK. This is due to the fact that Dolly is only small and therefore it is more risky to remove teeth from her little mouth. They have managed to secure ferry tickets and things so they are seeing her on Thursday, it's just in time as she has started losing weight now!
Sophie's Smile Ponies runs on donations and sponsorship because we want to offer our visits to all across the community and therefore we do not charge for our visits. Instead, we ask for a donation of whatever a place might be able to offer.
