Iʼve raised £535 to To raise funds to help Luke continue to receive life saving treatment and to support his family through this time.

Story
This is Luke Stewart, son of Jennifer and Mark, brother of Lewis and Lochlin. Luke is 7 years old and has just been diagnosed with a very rare brain tumour, called a Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Giloma (DIPG).
There is a very promising treatment that quite a few families have had done & proceeding to get done now, they are based in Mexico.
It's an immunotherapy type of treatment.
It's has so far been very successful with numerous children and its not not cheap
All I know is that If one of my family found themselves in this situation I would jump out a 1000 planes to raise funds and would want as many people as possible to help.

8 years agoI really need to start fundraising more actively, Luke and his family need further funds, I would like to thank everyone for their help and donations for this cause. I am getting more and more nervous the closer this gets but I am determined to do my bit - yikes Please make a donation - no matter how small, every penny really does count.

8 years agoIts about time I started really getting focused on my fund raising, I have along way to go and it will be here before I know it. I have been truly inspired by this little boys bravery, if he can do what he has had to go though, well I am sure I can be brave and do this jump...I am not excited to looking forward to this as its some thing that fills me with dread, however I count my blessings that I can do this to help, so help I will. I hope you will consider donating to this worthy cause, any amount helps.

8 years agoI just want to add this is such a big deal for me. All my life I have been terrified heights., If you have ever been at the Edinburgh museum and seen a strange women, sliding along her back against the wall - well that was me. Perhaps seen me crossing a swinging bridge on my knees or just about being sick at the site of a moving swing., No joke - this is really me. All I know is that I would want people to help me raise money if this was one my grandkids, so please be generous. A life really does depend on this

I can't explain how I felt when we started talking about doing a skydive for Luke, I think petrified and sheer panic is pretty close and I still feel that way. I hate heights and sudden movements and lets face it a SKYDIVE has both. I just wanted to help, I just had to help.
