Each year DMPG works as a team in order to help a few carefully selected charities that we feel strongly about. This year we have decided to focus on the topic of 'virtual team collaboration'. As such, we will be (virtually) walking/running/cycling to the North Pole between December 1st and 25th.

Each day, in advent calendar style, we will collectively cover part of the 6,785 km distance to the North Pole from our London HQ. This equates to a daily target of 271.5km or approximately 10km per person every day for 25 days straight. This will not be easy.

We provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions. Since 2006, we’ve provided more than 8,000 wigs and have given grants totalling more than £7 million towards research projects focussed on finding more effective treatments for childhood cancers.

Shout 85258 is a free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging support service for anyone who is struggling to cope. We launched publicly in May 2019 and we’ve had more than 900,000 conversations with people who are anxious, stressed, depressed, suicidal or overwhelmed and who need immediate support. As a digital service, Shout 85258 has become increasingly critical since Covid-19, being one of the few mental health support services able to operate as normal at this time.
