I've raised £1000 to further the education and digital inclusion of asylum seekers, refugees and other digitally excluded communities in South Yorkshire

On the 29th of August I will be running the Dig Deep Ultra . 30 miles and 1388m of ascent! Eek.
I would love you to consider encouraging me in my madness and sponsoring me as I 'Dig Deep for Digital Inclusion'.
How much time have you spent on your laptop or smart phone during lock-down? Now imagine not having access to those devices or knowing how to engage in our increasingly online world....The Covid-19 crisis has highlighted huge levels of digital inequality in the UK, with speakers of other languages being amongst the worst affected. This report goes in to the challenges, faced by this particular demographic, in more detail.
50% of everything I raise will go to the Good Things Foundation and the amazing work they are doing in the UK to reduce digital inequality. The remaining 50% will go to the non-profit I help to run Hope English School. We would love to be able to offer digital skills training alongside our existing ESOL provision to asylum seekers, refugees and other vulnerable migrants across South Yorkshire. The money we raise will go towards buying the devices needed to deliver this training.
Anything you can give would be so appreciated. It would help make my pain worth it, but more importantly it would make a real difference to the mum who is struggling to book a doctors appointment for her baby, the widower who is struggling to stay connected with his grandchildren or the unemployed person who is totally overwhelmed by trying to apply for jobs online!
(PS. In the event of the race being cancelled, I will still run the 30 miles!)
