Diane Abbott is a leading figure in politics, yet her mathematics skills leave a lot to be desired. We want to help her and Jeremy Corbyn challenge the Tories, but we need her to stop looking like an absolute plonker.

We plan to fund an NVQ Level 1 in basic mathematics. Whilst we appreciate this may be a bit of a challenge for her, and maybe we should have started off with a ’learning numbers foundation stage’ touch and feel book , we think its healthy to challenge her and think she can achieve at least a ‘C’ if she puts her mind to it.

We contacted Diane for comment, who advised she is looking forward to working 37 hours a day, 12 days a week to complete the course and thanked us for helping her get a step closer to running the nations finances.
