Story

Mike, Bruce, and Bethany are fundraising by walking the Tissington Trail and back in Derbyshire (circa. 27 miles) on behalf of the Dialysis Unit at Samuel Johnson Community Hospital in Lichfield. The plan to do this on the 23rd June 2024.

The small team of caring and compassionate nurses look after patients who are on long term dialysis or those that need dialysis whilst they await a kidney transplant; like Mike's wife.

They rely on fundraising like this to provide small comforts for their patients both within the unit and externally to make the treatment for kidney failure just a little bit more bearable.

We take this opportunity to thank all those who kindly donate towards this worthy cause that is close to our hearts.
