    Story

Dounreay Fire, Ambulance and Rescue personnel are aiming to raise funds in aid of Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland, and The Firefighter Charity by carrying out a sponsored stretcher carry.

The stretcher along with the casualty weighing 60kg - which is the equivalent of an average adult’s weight will be carried by four firefighters at one time.

The route will begin at 0800hrs leaving the Dounreay site, passing through Thurso and Watten before crossing the finish line at Caithness General Hospital, Wick on the 28th of April 2023.

Please share to allow us to raise as much funds as possible for these two great charities.

Thank you from all at Dounreay Fire, Ambulance & Rescue Service 🚒🚑
