My name is Dexter Holmes, I am 10 years old, this summer I will be completing 'Dexters Summer Challenge'.

I am raising money to share between two charities.

CDH UK (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia) is a charity very close to my families hearts. I would like to raise money to help them to continue to support families affected by CDH.

Young Lives Vs Cancer is a charity that supports children, young people and their families when they are diagnosed with cancer. I would like to raise money to help Young Lives Vs Cancer to continue their work.

I am not athletic or fit, I don't like the way my heart racing makes me feel but I know that feeling is much easier to manage compared with the feelings of the children involved in both of these charities. I will be completing three different tasks in my local area of North Wales.

Task 1 - Walk Moel Famau twice in one day!

Task 2 - Cycle along the North Wales cycle route from Prestatyn to Llandudno.

Task 3 - Swim the length of Llyn Tegid (5.95km) at a local swimming baths - I will be completing this task over a number of weeks through the summer. It works out as 238 lengths!
