Story
Two weeks ago, we received the earth-shattering news that the magnificent Dexter Acres had lost his life in a motorcycle accident on his way home from work.
To say that he is an enormous loss is the biggest understatement. Dexter was a titan, a brilliant, giant boy/man on his way to a very bright future, working hard for his qualifications to become a tree surgeon.
He was incredibly kind, funny and real. He also gave the best hugs. He was massively loved and always made a lasting impression on everyone who was lucky enough to meet him.
His Mum Nicola made sure that Dexter and his older brother Joe were brought up with love, laughter and fun, Nicola being THE perfect mother to her boys, always loving and so proud of Dexter and Joe, their bond like no other.
There has been such an outpouring of love for Dexter, Nicola and Joe from the community, all asking 'what can we do'?
This fundraiser has now been created by her friends so that we can as a community assist and support Nicola and Joe in giving Dex' the perfect send off and to help Nicola with some respite and a gentler return to work.
Thanks for reading, with love.
