I'm raising £5000 to To help Armed forces veterans and serving personnel who suffer from mental health problems and PTSD to get into metal detecting.

Detecting for veterans is a tri Armed Forces Metal Detecting CIC organisation 12581260 . Our aim is to be able to get Armed Forces veterans and serving personnel in the Armed Forces who suffer from mental health problems and PTSD or any other health issues from serving in the Armed Forces into metal detecting to use as therapy.
Metal Detecting is proven to dramatically reduce the effects of PTSD while being outside in the fresh air, while concentrating on your surrounding's and the history that you are finding. Many scientific and peer-reviewed studies have proven the beneficial of Metal detecting for help with mental health issues. When you have returned home you can sit down and research the item's you have found and by doing so will keep you're mind active. Being a member of Detecting For Veterans CIC gives our members a sense of belonging.
We also support the wider Armed Forces Community by giving out support and help when needed.
We also raise funds for two armed forces charities we support in the organisation The Veterans Charity and Talking2minds charity . We are seeking funds to run the CIC and also to supply Armed Forces Veterans complete Metal Detecting set ups which cost in the region of £800.00 each ,
Due to the pandemic our fundraising has dramatically reduced but we still are getting referral's to help our Armed Forces Veterans. So please any donation would be gratefully received and more Veteran's will be helped.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
