Once again I'll be taking up the challenge to walk the Jurassic Coast with Ultra Challenge. This time I'll be walking the second half from Weymouth to Bridport approximately 42km on Saturday 18th May.

I'll be raising funds for All Bullie Rescue, a small charity that relies totally on fundraising and donations made by their members and the public. Their aim is to rehome bull breeds that come into their care, through various needs. The charity is in a desperate situation. The demand for rescue space has escalated, even more so since the ban on XL Bullies. This charity does all it can to keep it's doors open and to not turn a dog away, even when they are at full capacity.

The Government underestimated the number of XL Bullies owned in the UK and we are now seeing many ending up in rescue through no fault of their own. With demands made to owners to have certain criteria in place in such a short timespan. Vets have been inundated with owners enquiring if their dog meets the BSL (breed specific legislation) and in some cases asking to euthanise their healthy dog, which goes against their morals and the codes that these vets follow.

This is about helping all bullies, a breed that has always, unfortunately, had a bad reputation and a large number in rescues. This is about saving their lives and for them to be placed into the right homes and to be given a fair chance. Every penny raised is very much appreciated.
