Story
We sadly lost Dad on 20th March, at the grand age of 93 following a short illness. He was a much loved Dad, Grampy, Great-Grampy and Great-Great-Grampy. He will be so missed, and we would like to create a lasting legacy in his name.
There are two causes we would like to support, and any donations will be split equally between the two.
The first is the Royal British Legion. Having served in the army, Dad was a proud and lifelong supporter of their work and everything they stand for.
The second cause is Lizzie's Soup Run. Lizzie does a weekly visit to the homeless in Bath, and provides them with not only essentials, but also treats such as home-made casserole, cakes, biscuits and bags of sweets. There isn't much to look forward to on the streets, for one day a week that is changed.
Lizzie is doing an amazing thing, and we feel that this kindness and selflessness reflects how Dad lived his life.
Any donations would be very much appreciated, although there is obviously no pressure or obligation to donate. Please leave a comment either way, it is truly heart-warming to see how loved Dad was by the people who knew him.
