I'm raising £6000 to the poorest of poor school children in a remote village in Nepal

I am raising 1 million Nepalese rupees (about £6,000) for the benefit of the poorest of poor children in schools in the remote village of Hwaku. It is a remote part of eastern Nepal which is now under Atharai rural municipality in the district of Tehrathum.
It was where I was born, grew up and attended primary and mid-secondary level schooling. No wonder it has a special place in my heart. I have many glorious, beautiful memories of my childhood. You would see the views of mount Kanchenjunga (the third highest peak in the world) when you opened eyes from the bed every morning. With sublime mountain views and surroundings with tropical greenery, streams, river and rice and cardamom plantations, you could feel the heaven on earth.
At the same time, I witnessed the sufferings of the children and families from extreme poverty. I saw babies and children dying of starvation and lack of healthcare facilities. Their families were unable to provide food in the mornings and evenings. The children were suffering from malnutrition. There was no food all day in the school. This is an extremely insignificant attempt to raise some money which will be deposited into a bank in Nepal. From the interests drawn, the poorest of poor children in schools in the village will benefit from an annual grant in a recurring manner. I believe this is a more effective and sustainable approach as opposed to one off helps.
Your contributions can make a difference to a child's life.
