I've raised £500 to The Matt Ratana Rugby Foundation

2015, I went through the worse time of my life.
Although I had support from everyone around me, Matt re-directed my aggression, my anger, my anxiety towards the progression in the gym.
He was my line manager, my welfare officer, one of my closest friends. Without him, I wouldn’t be where I am today. He noticed changes in my mental health and my physique. Whenever I saw him he’d say “Deen, show me a lat spread” “let me see those biceps son” “you need to get on stage with that physique” and the rest is history.
On the 16th November, I compete at my first of many natural bodybuilding shows. I’m doing this to show you can turn a negative into a positive. I’m doing this because he saw potential when I didn‘t. I am doing this… For him.
If you’ve read this far, I appreciate you.
On the 25th September 2020, Matt Ratana was taken away from us in the line of duty by being shot several times.
I’m raising money for ‘The Matt Ratana Rugby Foundation’ his love and passion for the sport was overwhelming. He made me find love in the gym. The least I could do is raise money for what he loved the most.
“changing life‘s experince of young people through rugby”
My goal is £500.
I know times are hard, but anything will be incredibly appreciated.
Matt. I love you bro, let’s go and get it.
