On 16th September a small group of us aim to walk approx 40 miles from Green Tara Animal Sanctuary in Rochester, Kent to Canterbury along the Pilgrims Way to raise money for Bodhicharya UK and Green Tara Animal Sanctuary.

Bodhicharya UK is a charity made up of individuals and groups providing buddhist teachings and courses, as well as supporting mental, emotional and spirital well-being and those in need.

Green Tara Animal Sanctuary is a not-for-profit sanctuary providing a safe home to animals in need including chickens, cats, pigs and a turkey. The sanctuary also partakes in rescuing and rehoming excommercial hens and unwanted or dumped cockerals. 100% of all funds goes directly on the animals and their needs.
