A huge thank you to each and every person who helped support the fundraising for Lucy. As many people know, Lucy sadly passed away on 10th October surrounded by her loved ones. Some of the funds raised were used to pay for more treatment from the German trial for Lucy to try and stabilize her condition. Sadly this didn't help. The remaining funds raised will be used to start up a foundation in Lucy's name by her parents to help others in the same situation. Lucy will forever be in our hearts. A huge thank you to all that have donated. I don't think people realise how grateful. Lucy's conditioned has deteriorated, and as a result of this Lucy will be taking more medication from the German Trial. The funds raised so far will help pay for this which is a huge help and relief for the family. The families wishes are still to proceed with the CAR-T treatment, however, without stabilizing Lucy with the German medication, the CAR-T treatment wouldn't be an option.
