Story

We will be attempting to cycle to all 9 away grounds of Div 6 central we were due to visit during the 2020 cricket season. Starting in Dormansland, we will venture north to Edenbridge followed by 5 stops on the way to the coast at Rottingdean and back north with two further stops before the finish line at Dormansland Cricket Club.

The route has been plotted out and sits at 104miles. With an estimated duration of over 7 hours. Strava Route Planner

The team is made up of first team captain David Williams (currently nursing a broken leg but will do everything in his power to get fit in time, sob story 1)

First team vice captain Alex Pelling, first team wicket keeper and cycling guru John Holman, first team middle order batsman Richard Dodgson who will have the added struggle of managing his diabetes over such a long period of exercise (sob story 2). And finally first team opening batsman Matt Ruxton.

So wish us luck! We aim to complete the challenge on the weekend of the 18th July.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated and all money raised will go to A Chance to Shine the nations cricket charity.

Thank you!
