Disability support

Story

The team at Dawn Breakers has raised over £100,000 in the past for local causes. This will be the first ‘charity day challenge’ since the pandemic, and we have decided to support one of our own regulars, Laura Tween, in her important work outside the gym.

Laura runs a therapy farm in Salisbury called “Able Hands Together”, which provides invaluable support for adults with learning disabilities. Offering social, vocational, and employability skills, plus emotional and pastoral support, the team at Able Hands are able to empower their clients by arming them with the tools, activities and life skills necessary to fulfil their unique potential.

As a not-for-profit organisation, Able Hands Together relies on funding and the generosity of charitable donations such as this, to continue to thrive and support their co-farmers.

Laura told me personally that she’d particularly like to use this money to buy a mini bus for the farm so they can go on proper excursions.

Please do donate generously for this amazing cause, doing important work within the community every day.
