We are seeing a huge rise in homelessness across the country and as a business owner in Birmingham for over 25 years I think its important to give something back to the community. I have seen for myself the changes in and around Birmingham and every trip into the city there are more and more homeless freezing on the pavements each with their own story as to why. Sleeping "rough" isn't just about having nowhere to go its so much more than that often people who have severe mental health issue's, drug problems, abusive relationships are forced to step away from the world and end up on the streets. Yes we all think the Government should do more, but are we not just passing the responsibility over to someone else so we don't have to deal with the fact that we simply don't just do enough to help.... I truly believe business owners have a social responsibility and a duty to give back, this is where KSB Recruitment Consultants have stepped in, the team are sleeping out for 1 night at Birmingham City Football Club n a bid to raise awareness, we will have a small snapshot of what people go through but we are mostly doing this to raise money to put back and help get people off the streets. We as a business can and will be helping in so many other ways and this is just the start of our fundraising and support for 2019. Event being held at Birmingham City Football Club on the 15th Feb 2019 from 20.00 hours until 08.00am we will be sleeping under the starts and experiencing rough sleeping for ourselves for the one night....Its gonna be a cold one too.
