Hi, my name is Astra, I'm 15 years old & go to the Sir John Nelthorpe school in Brigg.With a company called World Challenge have enrolled in a 2 year programme which will see me taking part in a 4 week educational expedition to Cambodia & Thailand in July 2018. This involves trekking through the jungle before living & working in the local community on projects that will enhance their lives.

It's a challenging expedition that will significantly benefit the local community whilst teaching me valuable life skills such as communication, team work & leadership.

I have the task of raising £3700 to cover the cost of the expedition. So, amongst other things I have already held coffee mornings, raffles, cosmetics parties & a bingo evening.

On Saturday 28th October Mum & dad are taking part in the 5km Glow in the Park event in Merseyside to raise more funds.
