David Mills-Norman is a friend with a wicked sense of humour who is currently battling the fight of his life. David is 42 years old and has cancer of duodenum: a cancer that is so rare in someone so young that it was not diagnosed for some time.
For any of you who know David he spent his youth in Llanfairtalean without a care in the world grasping life with both hands. He graduated and settled down in Banbury Oxford. Finding a niche in the market, David set up his own business in the catering trade which after many months was finally starting to become a successful business 'Big Dave's Barbeque Shack.'
David's first reaction when finally diagnosed was to work as much as possible to support his wife Julie and his two children aged 6 and 2 years but it was imperative that he started treatment. Unfortunately being young and self employed David has little sick pay provision and is having to have extensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy in an attempt to destroy this horrible disease and cannot work. He and his family would never ask for help yet for many years in education his family has helped my family and many many others in achieving self worth and confidence and set many on the road to become successful in whatever they have wanted to achieve.
We would love to be able to take just a small portion of the day to day worry and allow David time to recuperate and spend precious time with his family and loved ones. Any donations would be greatly appreciated for a man and his family who deserve a break.
