Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit 'David Clarks" page.
As many of you know, on 9th April 2020 Our Dad (& Husband) -David Clark- lost his battle with COVID19. My Dad fought many health battles in his life; Kidney transplants, heart problems, diabetes. But the virus was 1 too many & over whelmed him.
Dad helped to raise funds for the kidney ward in the Royal, through events; He always felt that he owed them his life & wanted to ensure they felt this by raising funds for them. He felt it was his way of giving to the teams that helped him.
Our Dads funeral will be held on 1st May 2020 at Springwood, but with all the restrictions in place only 10 people can attend. As a family we've had many messages from people asking how they can show their respects & if they can send flowers etc. We're asking people to donate here what they would have spent on flowers etc. etc. ALL funds from this will be donated to the Royal Liverpool & Whiston Hospitals. We understand they are not a charity, but its our way of giving something back to not only the NHS, but everyone it treats now & in the future with my Dads memory attached
After the enforced lock down, we will also be holding a memorial in Davids name, where again ALL proceeds will be donated.
Our family will not directly benefit from this fund raising.
