I have been receiving treatment for non - hodgekins lymphoma in the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital since July 2016 including radiotherapy, high dose chemo and stem cell transplant. I am not going to be cured but staying positive and determined to stay around ad long as possible for loved ones and friends, and myself of course!
The consultants, nurses and general staff have been brilliant in every respect, and their treatment of fellow patients beyond reproach. They all work so hard, remain cheerful and do their utmost to help patients through challenging times. In addition the treatment is carefully and individually planned.
In other circumstances I would do a challenge to raise the £2500 target I am aiming for but this is physically not possible. I have many facebook friends and family and would appeal to you all to help me reach my target or beyond. We will all have been touched in our lives by the impact of cancer so your support will be of benefit both now and the future.
I intend presenting any money raised to my consultant Dr Shah and ask him to specifically target the money to support the work of the Oncology and Haematology Departments within the hospital.
