Dave Roberts was a dad of five and a loving husband to Elaine Roberts. Six months ago, our dad went to donate blood like he always did, every 3/4 months for the last 30yrs. But on his last visit they detected something wrong with his blood. They sent him off to his GP.

This was the begining of his cancer fighting journey.

Dave was doing so well and appeared to be getting the better of the cancer. Until our mums birthday, dave became unwell and was admitted to Rosewood Ward at Darent Valley Hospital.

The doctors and nurses cared for Dave very very well. our Mum stayed with him throughout. Until the day we all had to say goodbye.

Many people have asked about donations instead of flowers for the funeral so as a family we thought what better legacy than to dontate to the ward that cared for him so well.

The money will be raised through this page and passed onto the hospital In our Dads memory.
