With sponsorship and donations going to our transport fund will be donated to cover the cost of as many lorries as we can .These lorries are only charging the cost of the Fuel which is Between £1900 and £2300 and your donations will go to this cause
The short term plan is for a lorry from Scotland, Manchester and East/West Midlands The long term plan is to dispatch a lorry once a month from the above locations As aid will be required for many months to come even if the war ends early.
The average cost per lorry is £2,300 from Scotland and £1,900 from North and Midlands (Obviously we will be negotiating for a better price
Currently there is still over 9500 tonnes of donations throughout their centres
Which they had to stop taking in new donations until they can move the current donations, and will take in new targeted supplies as space becomes available
These centres sort out from the donations generously donated by the public and businesses and the organisation volunteers sort out items such as excess clothes and other items not required for Ukraine and passed onto the Salvation army – so nothing is Wasted
