Our mother Ann Harrison was diagnosed with Cancer for the 2nd time in her life in August 2015. she spent the last 2 weeks of her life in Manorland's Hospice where her care was exemplary.
Both mother and father had spent thousands of hours supporting various charities all their lives. They won national awards for fund raising for RNIB and Marie Curie Cancer Care and inspired their sons and grandchildren to adopt the same approach towards fund raising for deserving causes.
The walk my brother and I are undertaking in April and May is 80 miles. It starts at mother's birthplace in Malvern Worcestershire on what would have been her 85th birthday and finishes in Measham Leicestershire , where Dad was born . We hope to raise £3,000 for this most worthy of causes; if only to receives side splitting updates on our progress please give generously.
